How to Market an Educational App

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

"Education" is not a person. A nursing exam, a 4th-grade reading habit, or Spanish before a trip is a person.

Pick the test or the age

The posts, the subtitle, and the first screenshot name it. If you cover many subjects, market one at a time or you will sound like a library catalog.

Teach one useful bit in public

A card, a phrase, a practice question you have the right to publish. Alma turns that into a slideshow and schedules it. The last slide is the deck or the lesson inside the app. $29/month for 500 slides, or $199/month with no cap.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Talk to the buyer

Students and parents are often different people. A post for a parent says what the child does for ten minutes. A post for a student says what to do tonight. Do not mix them on one cover.

Do not promise a score

You can say the app holds the practice. You cannot say it raises a result. Students have been sold that line too many times.

Time it to the season

Exam months and the start of school are when the search happens. The account should already be posting that subject before the rush, not waking up the week of the test.
