Carousel Ideas for an SAT Vocab App
September 30, 2026 · 4 min read
Vocab carousels die when they are a dictionary. A test-day carousel teaches the trap.

The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.
Read the carousel reportA format
- The word, large.
- A sentence a test might use, not a cute one.
- The definition in a few words.
- The trap: the word people mix it up with.
- "Five of these a day is a deck. It is in the app."
Other ideas
- "Words that look positive and aren't."
- "The 20 you keep missing, not 2,000 new ones."
- "What to do the week of the test: review misses, don't add a new list."
- "A word in the question stem, not just the choices."
Keep the claim small
Knowing a word list does not equal a score. Say these are words that show up and a way to remember them. Students have been promised a 200-point jump by worse products. You can be the one that does not do that.
Check the words. A confident, wrong definition is worse than skipping a day.
