How to Market a Language Learning App on TikTok

September 30, 2026 · 6 min read

Language apps already have a native format on TikTok: one phrase, one situation, a reason to save it. You do not need a skit if you do not want to be on camera. A slideshow can carry a phrase.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Start in Make

The unit of content

One post, one language, one moment.

  • Ordering coffee in Spanish
  • Saying you don't understand, politely, in Japanese
  • Asking for the bill in French
  • Telling a doctor where it hurts, if you are ready to be careful and accurate

Slide one is the situation in English. Slide two is the phrase, large. Slide three is how it sounds, written simply, plus a note that audio is in the app. Slide four is one mistake learners make. Slide five is "this pack is in the app."

Pick a lane for the month

An app can teach ten languages and still post only Spanish in October. Mixed-language accounts teach the algorithm nothing and teach the viewer you are a directory. You can open a second series later for the next language.

Accuracy matters more than pace

One wrong phrase will be screenshotted. Have a fluent speaker check the line before it goes up. A slow, correct account beats a daily account that native speakers correct in the comments.

The install

People save phrase posts and never download. The last slide has to say the phrase is saved inside the app with audio, because a screenshot has no sound. That is the gap a slideshow cannot close by itself, so name it.
