How to Market a Snoring App Without Embarrassing People

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Snoring apps have two users: the person who snores, and the person who shares the room. Most posts only joke about the second one. That gets a laugh and no download.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Start in Make

Write to one of them at a time

The person awake. They want tonight to be quieter. Hooks:

  • "You can't make them roll over. You can cover the sound."
  • "Earplugs hurt. Here is the next thing to try."
  • "A small speaker by your pillow, not a lecture."

The person who snores. They are often embarrassed already. Hooks:

  • "A private recording, so you can hear what they hear."
  • "Track the loud nights. Take that to a doctor if you need to."

Say clearly that an app is not a test for sleep apnea and not a treatment. If someone is worried about breathing, the post should point them to a clinician, not to a punchline.

Skip the bit

Mocking how someone sounds while they sleep will spread. It also teaches the snorer that your app is a way for other people to laugh at them. They will not put that on their phone.

The last slide

One job: mask the noise, or record the night, whichever your app does. Do not claim both if you only do one. The person scrolling at midnight will try the thing that sounds usable before morning.
