How to Market a Language App to Busy Professionals
September 30, 2026 · 5 min read
Professionals do not want a mascot. They want ten minutes that respects the meeting they have on Thursday.
Make the posts for your app
Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.
Start in MakeTalk about the meeting
- "Three lines for a call where everyone else speaks French."
- "How to say you'll follow up by email, politely."
- "What to do when you understand the topic and not the joke."
- "A commute lesson that ends when the train does."
Skip "become fluent this year." They have heard it. They will try a product that helps on Thursday.
Show the length
Put "8 minutes" on slide one if that is the lesson. Busy people decide with the number. A path of 200 lessons is a reason to delay. Offer today's lesson as the download.
Where they see it
Post at commute hours on weekdays. A Sunday-night "start a new you" carousel is a different audience. Your screenshots should show a lesson with a work situation, not a beach and a streak flame.
If the app is actually built for travelers or classrooms, do not aim it at executives in the caption only. The examples in the product have to match the post.
