How to Market a Language App With No Famous Teacher

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Famous teachers are a shortcut you do not have. Viewers follow a lesson they can use this weekend anyway. The teacher's face is optional.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Start in Make

What you can be known for instead

  • A single situation, taught properly: restaurants, airports, dating, the clinic
  • Audio that is clearly recorded and labeled by region
  • A pace that is honest: "ten phrases, then stop"

Pick one and repeat it until the account is recognizable without a person in frame.

How a slideshow replaces the teacher

The phrase is the hero, not a portrait. A fluent speaker still has to check it. You are removing the performance, not the standard. Credit "audio by" a real person if someone is lending a voice. That credit is more convincing than a stock smile.

Do not fake a personality

AI voices and unnamed "native tutors" read as cheap when the rest of the category is full of real people. If a person recorded it, say so. If a voice is synthetic, do not imply a teacher is waiting inside. Learners are signing up to trust pronunciation. Be exact about what they will hear.

Your first hundred users can come from one useful series. Fame can be a later problem.
