Money Posts Get Comments but Your App Gets No Downloads
September 30, 2026 · 5 min read
A hot take about rent or wages will get comments from people who agree. Agreement is not an install. They do not need your app to have the opinion.
Make the posts for your app
Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.
Start in MakeWhat is missing
The last slide never says what to tap. Or it says "download my app" after a post that was about the economy, not about a task. The viewer cannot see a job for the product.
Rewrite the ending
Keep the hook if it is true, then land on a task the app does:
- The opinion: "The month is decided on payday."
- The task: "Put rent, food, and transport in before you see the leftover."
- The screen: your app with those three rows.
If you cannot find the task, the post belongs to a commentary account, not to the product. Split them.
Check the store page the same day
Send a friend from the post to the store. If screenshot one is a pie chart and the post was about a payday ritual, they will feel lost. Make the first screenshot the same three rows. Comments can stay high. Installs come from the handoff.
