How to Turn Running TikToks Into App Installs

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Running footage travels. App installs do not, unless the last slide tells a specific person what they would open tomorrow.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Start in Make

Add a job to the end

A sunrise run can stay. After it, one slide:

  • "Week 1 of couch to 5K is in the app" or
  • "Tuesday's club run, 6:30, this corner" or
  • "Your long run this week, with the easy days around it"

Pick the job your app does. A scenic clip with a logo is a brand ad people will not convert from.

Filter the audience in the hook

"First marathon, week 6" will get fewer views than a pretty run and more of the right people. Views from other countries still feel good in analytics. They will not show up on your store if you only ship in one place. Say the country or the store when it matters.

Look at store visits on posting days

If visits do not move, the last slide is unclear or the store page talks about a different feature. Make screenshot one match the slide. Then post that pair again, with a new run in front. Do not keep publishing scenery and hoping the logo works harder.
