What to Post for a Running App in Winter
September 30, 2026 · 4 min read
Winter is when running plans die. The post should assume cold, dark, and a real chance of ice, not a crisp aesthetic.
See how Alma automates this
The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.

- "Treadmill conversion: what to do with the workout when you can't go out."
- "Dark morning: the layer you put by the door tonight."
- "Ice is a reason to move the run, not a test of character."
- "A shorter outside run plus the rest indoors."
- "What 'easy' means when you are wearing a coat."
- "The week between holidays, scaled down on purpose."
Safety
Do not tell people to run on ice because the plan said Tuesday. Offer the swap. If your app cannot swap a run to a treadmill, this post will frustrate them. Add the swap or do not promise it.

A dark window, a headlamp, a treadmill display. Skip the beach race. It is a different season than the one they are in, and it makes the plan feel like it was written for someone else.
