What a Small Language App Should Post Instead of Copying Duolingo
September 30, 2026 · 5 min read
Copying a giant's jokes, without the giant's recognition, makes a small app look like a fan account. You will not win on streaks, push notifications, or a green bird.
Make the posts for your app
Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.
Start in MakePost what they smooth over
- One regional variety, named
- A situation they teach late: the clinic, a landlord, a job interview
- The polite refusal, not just the greeting
- Adult learners who do not want a points game
- A correction of a phrase that textbooks still print
A month-long series
Pick one: "Spanish for the clinic," "Japanese at the station," "French in a meeting." Every post is a phrase from that series. A visitor should tell what the account is in three seconds. "We also gamify language learning" is not a series.
Mention the giant only if you must
A comparison post can exist. A whole account that talks about another app more than its own lessons cannot. Teach the phrase. The people who are bored of the owl will recognize themselves without you naming it every time.
Put the same series name on your store screenshots. The post and the product should look like one decision.
