Carousel Ideas for a Kids' Bedtime App (for Parents)

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

You are not marketing a bedtime app to a four-year-old. You are marketing it to the adult who has already said "one more" twice.

See how Alma automates this

The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.

Ideas

  • "The story that ends. On purpose. So you can leave the room."
  • "Same story every night is allowed."
  • "A timer the child can see, so you are not the villain."
  • "No autoplay. The next episode does not start."
  • "What to put on when you are too tired to read aloud."
  • "The backup plan for the night you are not home."
  • "A wind-down that is not another cartoon."
  • "Download it before the bedtime you need it, not during."

Say the limit out loud

Parents are wary of screens at night. If the story stops, say it stops. If there are no ads, say that only if it is true. If the app is meant to be the parent’s voice on the nights they are away, say that, and do not imply it replaces a person.

Pictures

A dark hallway, a book on a bed, a phone face-down. Not a child you do not know. You do not need a kid’s face to sell bedtime. The parent’s problem is specific enough.
