How to Get Users for a SaaS
September 30, 2026 · 6 min read
SaaS users are people with a job that already wastes an hour. They do not install because your landing page says "platform."
Name the hour you remove
"Send the invoice the day you deliver." "See which posts brought a trial." One job. The homepage, the posts, and the email all say it.
Publish proof, on a schedule
A slideshow of the job is enough proof that you exist. Alma drafts those from your site and schedules them, so a stranger who checks you after the email does not find a dead account. $29/month for 500 slides, or $199/month with no cap.
Make the posts for your app
Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.
Start in MakeWrite to people who have the job
A short note: the problem, what you do, the price or the trial, one link. Send it to people you can name. A bought list is how you teach yourself that "SaaS marketing doesn't work."
Talk to anyone who starts and does not pay
Ask what they expected. Put that sentence on the next post and on the paywall. The first users are the research.
Stay on that job until it repeats
A second feature will not find users. Another week of the same sentence will.
