How to Get Users for an App

September 30, 2026 · 6 min read

Users show up when a person with the problem sees a clear next step. You can set that up this week.

Write the sentence they would search

The job, in their words. "Log a feed at 3am." "First week in the gym." "Split the trip costs." That sentence is the campaign.

Turn it into a week of posts

Alma takes your app link and drafts the slideshows, then you schedule them. Edit any line that sounds like a brand and not like the sentence. $29/month for 500 slides, or $199/month with no cap.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Start in Make

Make the store the second half of the post

Same words on screenshot one. A button path with no extra choices. If they have to hunt, you did not get the user. You got a bounce.

Go where the sentence is already being typed

Search TikTok, Reddit, and the store for that phrase. Post your version. Reply where a reply is welcome and a link is relevant.

Ask the first users what they thought the app was

The gap between their answer and your sentence is the next post. Close that gap before you pay for traffic.

Getting users is this loop. More tools do not shorten it.
