How to Market a Mobile App
September 30, 2026 · 6 min read
Marketing a mobile app is a repeating post plus a store page that does not contradict it. The rest is optional until those two exist.
Name one user and one job
"Anyone who wants to be healthy" is not a market. "Someone training for their first 5K" is. Every post for the next month speaks to that person.
Make the posts in Alma
Paste the App Store or website link. Alma writes and designs slideshows and carousels for that app, or uses lines you type yourself. Schedule them to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads or LinkedIn. One a day is enough to learn. $29/month for 500 slides, or $199/month with no cap.
Make the posts for your app
Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.
Start in MakePoint every post at one link
Last slide, caption, and bio. The store page. If the first screenshot does not say the same job as slide one, fix the screenshot before you post again.
Read installs, not likes
After two weeks, keep the hooks that showed up as store visits. Write five more versions. Drop the posts that were only funny.
Add a second channel only after that
A community reply, a short site page, or a small ad on the winning post. Not all three on day one.
That is the system. The tool in the middle is Alma because the system dies when the posts stop.
