How to Sell an AI App

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Nobody buys "AI." They buy the email, the plan, the picture, or the answer. If you cannot show that result, you do not have an offer yet.

Demo the output

One before and after that is real: the messy input, the usable output. Slideshows are enough if each slide is one step. Alma can draft them from your app link. Replace any line that says "powered by AI" and says nothing else. $29/month for 500 slides, or $199/month with no cap.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Start in Make

Say what it will not do

The limit is why someone trusts the price. "It drafts the reply. You send it." is a product. "It replaces your job" is a refund.

Charge for the outcome

A subscription if they need it weekly. A pack if they need a pile of results. Put the price on the store page. Check the store's current fee so your price still works after the cut.

Do not wrap a chatbot and call it done

If the only screen is a text box, you are selling a prompt. Show the job wrapped around it: the template, the save, the export, the thing they would have done in another tab.

Use the words customers use

They will not search your model name. They will search the job. Your posts and your subtitle should too.
