How to Show a Meditation App Without Filming a Session
September 30, 2026 · 4 min read
Filming yourself meditating is awkward, and it rarely explains the app. A session is mostly a person sitting. The product is the screen and the audio.
Make the posts for your app
Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.
Start in MakeWhat to put on the slides
- The length, large: "5 min"
- The title of the session, in normal words
- One line on who it is for: "for the commute" or "for people who get restless"
- A photo of the play button, readable on a phone
That is a complete post. Audio will not play in a photo carousel, so the caption can say "sound on in the app, not in this post."
What a still photo can be
A chair. A closed laptop. A bus window. A kitchen before anyone else is up. You are showing where five minutes fits, not performing calm.
If you have a voice
A separate video can be the sample. Do not force that sample into every slideshow. Many people will meet you on mute. The mute version has to stand up.
Use the same session title in the post and on the store screenshots. If they tap through and cannot find "the five-minute one," the post was a different product.
