Slideshow Ideas for a Couples Budget App

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Couples do not download a budget app because they love categories. They download it because money has become a fight or a silence.

See how Alma automates this

The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.

Ideas

  • "A monthly meeting that is 20 minutes and has a snack."
  • "Three numbers only: rent, food, everything else."
  • "Who pays what, written down, so it isn't a mood."
  • "The purchase you agree to sleep on."
  • "Separate spending money, so neither person is asking permission for a haircut."
  • "What to do when one of you earns more. A ratio, explained simply, if your app supports it."
  • "Look at the month, not at each other's coffee."

Be careful

Do not joke about a partner hiding packages. Do not assume marriage, a shared account, or equal income. "Two people who share costs" covers roommates and couples. If the app assumes a legal marriage, say so.

Show two names

A screenshot with one perfect user looks like a personal budget with a heart icon. Put two people on the example, with uneven numbers, so the viewer recognizes their house.
