Slideshow Ideas for an Adult Sleep Story App
September 30, 2026 · 5 min read
Adult sleep stories are hard to post because the product is a voice, and a slideshow is silent. Sell the reason to press play, not a plot summary.

- "A story boring on purpose. That's the point."
- "No cliffhanger. You are supposed to miss the ending."
- "For people who hate being told to breathe."
- "The bedtime version of a show you don't have to follow."
- "Twenty minutes. A train ride. Nothing happens. Good."
- "If meditation apps make you feel like you're failing."
- "Put it on when your brain is still at work."
- "A narrator who does not whisper like a horror movie."
How to describe one story
Two slides is enough: the setting, and the pace. "A night ferry. Low voice. No twist." Do not recap the middle. Curiosity is fine. A plot keeps them awake, which is the wrong result.
Show it is for adults
Say "for adults" in the hook if the art style looks like a children's app. People will not download something they think is for their kid when they wanted it for themselves.
End on the title of one story they can open tonight. A library of 200 is not a hook. One story is.
