TikTok Hooks for a White Noise App

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Someone lying awake does not want a slideshow about circadian rhythms. They want a sound, and a reason to try yours instead of the one already saved.

See how Alma automates this

The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.

Hooks for 1am

  • "Brown noise if fan noise feels too thin."
  • "The sound to try when rain videos got boring."
  • "White noise for the neighbor, not for you."
  • "A loop that doesn't have a bird in it at minute four."
  • "If you hate the sound of a fake thunderstorm."
  • "Put the phone face down. This is the one I leave on."
  • "Dorm room: one sound that covers the hallway."
  • "Baby finally asleep, your brain is not."

What the next slides should do

Name the sound in normal words. Say how to use it tonight: volume low, phone charging across the room if that is your advice, timer on or off. One slide can be a still of the app with the sound named. You cannot play audio in a photo slideshow, so the caption should say which sound to open.

Do not promise sleep

"This will knock you out" is a claim you do not control. "A sound to try when the room is too quiet" is enough. People trust a small promise at 1am.

Post these late, when that person is on their phone. A useful post at 8am reaches a different crowd than the one who needed the app.
