What to Post for a Freelance Invoice App

September 30, 2026 · 5 min read

Freelancers do not need another post about "know your worth." They need the invoice out the door and a way to ask for it again without feeling rude.

See how Alma automates this

The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.

Posts

  • "The follow-up you can paste. Short, dated, no apology novel."
  • "Send the invoice the day you deliver. Not Friday of next week."
  • "What to put on invoice one if you have never written one."
  • "A late fee only works if it was in the note before the work."
  • "Separate the client who is late from the client who vanished."
  • "Your number, the due date, and the way to pay, all visible."
  • "A monthly list of who still owes you, so it is not in your head."

Give them the sentence

On one slide, write a follow-up they can copy: "Checking in on invoice 014, sent March 2, due March 16. Happy to resend the link." That slide gets saved. The app is where the same sentence is attached to the actual invoice.

Do not invent income

No fake revenue dashboards. A sample invoice with obviously fake numbers labeled "example" is fine. A screenshot that implies a lifestyle is not. Freelancers have seen enough of those.
