What to Post for a Deep Work Timer App

September 30, 2026 · 4 min read

Deep work, as posted online, sounds like a cabin and four hours of silence. Most of your users have Slack and a meeting at two. Market the block they can defend.

Make the posts for your app

Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.

Start in Make

Posts

  • "50 minutes, one document, door closed or headphones on."
  • "The task has to fit the block. 'Write the report' doesn't. 'Draft the intro' might."
  • "A public calendar block so other people stop booking it."
  • "What you do when someone messages: it waits, unless it is on the list you wrote first."
  • "Two blocks is a good day. Stop advertising twelve."
  • "The timer is full screen because a small timer loses to a tab."

Show the setup

Slide one is the length. Slide two is the task written as a verb. Slide three is the phone or the site blocker, if you have one. Slide four is the end: stand up, do not add a new project.

Skip the cabin. An office chair and a closed laptop lid beside the timer is more accurate, and it tells a person with a job that this app knows where they work.
