Slideshow Ideas for a Body Doubling App

Body doubling is hard to explain in a logo and easy to explain in a situation. Someone is sitting down to do a task because another person is also sitting down.

Ideas

• "Camera off is allowed. The point is that someone else started."
• "A 25-minute room, not an all-day performance."
• "Say your task out loud or type it. Then mute."
• "You don't have to know the other people."
• "The session has an end, so you can borrow energy without a new friend group."
• "What to do if you freeze: shrink the task until it is one email."
• "Late arrival is still arrival. If your room allows it."
• "A morning room and a night room. People miss the one that doesn't exist."

Safety

Say whether video is recorded, whether names are public, and how to block someone. A focus app that surprises people with recording will not get a second session. Put "not recorded" on the slide if and only if that is true.

Show a lobby with a start time and a task line. That picture explains the product better than a definition of body doubling.
