What to Post for a PMS Journal App
September 30, 2026 · 5 min read
A symptom journal is for the person who walks into an appointment and cannot remember which week was bad. Market that, not a vibe.
Make the posts for your app
Paste your App Store or website link. Alma writes, designs and schedules the slideshows.
Start in MakeA useful post
- "Write the day, the symptom, and a number from 1 to 5. That's enough."
- "You are allowed to log only the bad days."
- "Bring the month to the appointment. That's the point of the export."
- "Pain that knocks you out is a reason to see a clinician, not a reason to try a new font in an app."
Do not tidy it up
Stock photos of women laughing in meadows miss the user. You also do not need to dramatize suffering. A plain list of what the journal holds is more respectful: cramps, sleep, mood, medication they already take. Only list what the app actually records.
Boundaries
You are not diagnosing PMS, PMDD, or anything else. Say the journal is a record they can show someone qualified. Avoid supplements and treatment claims. If a post starts recommending what to take, stop and rewrite it as what to write down.
