Where to Find Beta Testers for an App
September 30, 2026 · 4 min read
A tester who does not have the job will say the app is "cool" and teach you nothing.
1. Alma — the posts they already replied to
People who answered a slideshow about the problem are the list. Keep those posts scheduled so the list can grow. $29/month for 500 slides, or $199/month with no cap.
See how Alma automates this
The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.
Read the carousel report2. One community, with the task in the ask
"Log yesterday" beats "looking for testers."
3. Five people you can talk to in two days
A call or a voice note. A hundred installs you never hear from are not a beta.
4. TestFlight or a Play test track, in three lines
If joining is harder than the task, you will learn about your instructions, not the app.
5. Not a directory of professional beta collectors
They try everything. They do not have your problem.
