Instagram Carousel Ideas for Quitting a Habit
September 30, 2026 · 5 min read
Quitting content usually yells. The person who needs the app is already embarrassed. Write like you are planning the next hour with them.

The short report on how Alma turns an app link into posts that go out every day.

- "Day 1 is easy. Here is the plan for day 4."
- "Put the thing out of the room before you need willpower."
- "What to do at the time of day you usually do it."
- "Tell one person. Not the group chat."
- "A replacement that is allowed to be boring."
- "If you slip, log the slip. Don't delete the app."
- "The hour after dinner, planned before dinner."
- "You can quit one thing. Don't quit five in the same week."
Keep it to one habit per post
A carousel about "bad habits" helps no one pick an action. Name it: the late-night scroll, the second drink, the snack you don't even want. Your app can be general. The post cannot.
Last slide
"Open the app and set the time of day it usually happens." That is a better call to action than "start your journey." If the habit is substance-related, say you are a tracker, not a treatment, and point serious cases to real support.
